Role: Community Manager

Location: Hybrid / East Finchley (required onsite in client\'s office minimum once per week)

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Community Manager plays a key role in building, engaging and maintaining relationships with the client\'s UK social community. This is a really core role within the social team, supporting all facets of social media management from planning and strategy to publishing and analysis. The client\'s UK social team operates across all key channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and Threads. The role is responsible for maintaining best-in-class community management practices, interacting with trends, writing engaging social copy and managing crises. You are a storyteller and a dot connector who is adept in the categories of food, football, and all things related to popular culture in the UK.

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

Reporting to the Senior Account and Production Lead and taking direction from the Social Media Manager, the Community Manager is a highly collaborative role within the team. You\'ll be joining an agency team who are super passionate about what they do - creating best-in-class social and creative for the biggest food brand in the world.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Work in true collaboration with the client\'s and be responsible for Brand Guardianship as the Steward of their online personality
  • Grow, build, engage and support the community across key social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Threads
  • Working in close partnership with the Social Media Manager, you will develop and execute the UK social media strategy, writing inventive, attention-capturing posts, acting as key support for copywriting of all content
  • Monitor social media networks for breaking news and viral content, including UGC
  • Monitor industry trends and stay on top of the latest social media technical innovations to keep our presence current and forward-thinking
  • Working alongside the Customer Service team, you will be responsible in identifying type and magnitude of crisis (in social) and highlighting social considerations when wider team is planning strategic response
  • Supporting in development of low-fi content, including TikTok\'s and Instagram Reels
  • Publishing and scheduling all content, with a strong brand ambassadorship
  • Attending and posting from live events
  • Support for weekly reports and campaign reports, analysing performance data and using it to inform social strategy, alongside analysis of own and competitor platform performance
WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL
  • 1+ years experience managing community development
  • Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to present your work, attend client calls and capture notes
  • Be a courteous, positive and high-energy individual
  • Be a level, strategic thinker
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive in approach and attitude - able to spot opportunities to create content and help clients achieve their business ambitions
  • Strong experience with social media publishing and analytics tools, with a good grasp of basic maths
  • Successful implementation of content measurement and testing
  • Excellent written communication skills, and the ability to develop the voice of the brand within it
  • Professional and works well under pressure, retaining confidence of the client
  • Keen and active interest in digital trends and popular culture
  • Experience with working with a social media management tool
  • Understanding of organic social media reporting
