Job Description


Our client, an FTSE-listed Real Estate Investment Trust, is looking for a passionate Community Manager to manage and drive the community pillar for this business.

This business manages some of the most iconic and historic buildings across London, including commercial real estate, offices, clubs, pubs and theatres, and is an opportunity to make a huge impact on the local community.

You will be responsible for developing partnerships in line with the social sustainability strategy, including with local authorities, charities and community groups, and for working alongside a number of internal business units.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the management of multiple community projects and associated budgets and the continued development of long-term relationships with local partners, acting Act as the key point of contact for our community partners, including amenity societies, charities, and individuals.

Lead a range of community projects, including initiatives that will enable us to deliver on our commitment to promote local employment and training opportunities. Set the approach and strategic direction for delivering the company\'s social sustainability strategy on development projects so that local communities share in the success of our developments

Collate and report community engagement outcomes, including activities and impact, for the corporate reporting and sustainability benchmarks.

Promote staff involvement in community activities and volunteering projects, oversee corporate charitable activities and lead the company response to emergency campaigns.

In order to be successful in this role, you will have:

Experience working in a strategic role with internal and external stakeholders, ideally within the built environment industry

Experience working with local government and not-for-profit organisations.

Experience working within a diverse community and representing the needs of a wide range of stakeholders.

Project management and budgeting experience.
