Hours: 40 hours. Monday - Friday 08:30am - 5:00pm with no weekends!

Who we are:



Freedom Works is a co working community that provides flexible office space for over five thousand Sussex based businesses. With nine locations and our tenth opening in Leatherhead next year, we pride ourselves on creating welcoming, productive environments where members feel supported and connected. Our Community Managers play a central role in making this happen by ensuring each space runs smoothly and by building strong relationships within their member communities.

The Role



This role includes aspects of Receptionist and Customer Services however the title itself is Community Manager. But what is a Community Manager? It is a role that encompasses elements of front of house, receptionist, customer service, events management, marketing, sales and operational functions. It is a great role if you like diversity in your day to day as you will get to work across all the departments that make up Freedom Works. All our Community Managers also support with Central Roles and for this position we are particularly looking for someone who enjoys being involved in marketing and creating content for our spaces.

Key Responsibilities



Operations


The Community Manager ensures that the co working space runs efficiently for the comfort of all members and contacts. We have outlined the day to day basics of the operational side of the role below.

Provide a warm welcome to all members, visitors and contacts, representing the Freedom Works brand Onboard visitors and hot deskers to the space, ensuring they are shown how to use the facilities correctly Maintain a clean and tidy workspace throughout the day Keep the member community up to date with information whether reactive, informative or proactive Answer telephones according to company guidelines, respond to enquiries accurately, route calls as needed and take messages Make sure alarms, locks and security measures are in place at the end of the working day Follow all Health and Safety procedures and highlight any breaches to the Head of Operations Record and respond to incidents, complaints and issues according to the Incident Reporting Procedure, finding solutions within agreed timescales Accept, sort and process post and parcels in line with company procedure Accept and sign for deliveries Purchase supplies in line with established procedures

Marketing


Marketing is a core part of the Community Manager role and you will support both your space and the wider team through consistent content and activity that helps promote Freedom Works.

Create short form videos using CapCut to showcase the space, members and events Gather photos, videos and updates to support social media content Support with social media posts for the business Work with the central team on wider marketing projects Help grow awareness of the Freedom Works spaces by highlighting what makes our communities unique

Sales


You will also have the opportunity to be involved in the sales side of the role where you will support the sales team. This mainly includes working with our flexible members such as Hot Desk users and Meeting Room bookings however if you enjoy this side of the role it could extend to our Dedicated members too.

Support the sales team with inbound enquiries for hot desking and meeting room bookings Ensure all inbound sales enquiries are processed correctly using our Sales CRM system Carry out tours of the space for potential new members

Community


A big part of the role is being part of the community in your space at Freedom Works. We encourage all our team to get to know members and spend time with them. If you enjoy building connections this is an ideal role. At Freedom Works we aim to bring communities together and this starts with the Community Manager through organising informal social events and business to business networking events.

Support with scheduled events including set up, ordering food and drink and attending the event Organise informal social events such as our quarterly shared lunch and bring ideas to help drive these events forward Listen to members and identify opportunities for introductions that could promote their businesses or provide support

Who we need



Freedom Works is looking for a talented individual to join our team as Community Manager at our Worthing space. We are looking for someone who is solutions focused and can get things done. As all our Community Managers support with Central Roles, we are especially keen to find someone who either has experience in marketing or is genuinely passionate about being involved in it. This includes creating content for our spaces, supporting with social media and helping us showcase the Freedom Works community.
