The Community Meals Service provides a daily delivery of meals throughout Torfaen 365 days a year, to people living in their own homes.
You must be comfortable working on your own, have a flexible approach with good communication skills and be committed to supporting people when delivering meals.
We are seeking to appoint a new driver to support the service, delivering meals as per the rotas and covering absences of other staff members. Weekend working is essential.
You will be contracted for 18 hours per week (average) on an annualised hours contract.
When required, working times are: -
11.00 - 14.30 p.m. Monday to Friday
10.00 - 14.00 p.m. Saturday & Sunday.
You will require a driving licence. An electric vehicle will be provided, and a driving assessment will need to be completed.

There is also an opportunity to provide additional support to cooking staff - relief work would be paid at a Grade 4 (pro rata).
