We are looking to recruit an experienced Community Mental Health Centre Support Worker to join our community mental health team. We are a well-established community mental health team.
The community mental health team work with people who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties. Supporting people through their journey of recovery from mental health difficulties.
The role of the support worker is to be part of/compliment the community mental health multi disciplinary team in delivering interventions and support to promote the recovery people experiencing mental health difficulties.
The role of the support worker within the community mental health team is varied and there are opportunities for staff to develop skills in supporting therapeutic interventions, working under the supervision of a team of experienced senior mental health practitioners.
We would expect the successful applicant to have venepuncture training & skills to care training or have a willingness to under go such training, to support physical health and clozapine clinics.
The team includes a number of very experienced support workers who the successful applicant will work alongside.
This is a part time 18.75 hours per week post.
Supporting senior mental health practitioners to deliver responsive and effective care during assessment and treatment to a designated caseload of individuals experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
Working in a compassionate and non-judgemental manner with individuals in their own homes, in the community and in health settings.
Accurately recording contacts with individuals in clinical notes in a timely manner. Support the senior practitioner to complete all necessary administrative tasks.
