About the Role

We're looking for an organised and people-focused Community Outreach Officer to help us strengthen AiTechTouch's partnerships with schools, libraries, and community groups and to capture early demand from parents and educators.

You'll help build relationships, coordinate events, gather feedback, and collect valuable insights that support our Innovate UK pilot and future launch plans. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting people, fostering inclusion, and seeing ideas grow from the ground up.

What You'll Do

Community & Partner Engagement

Maintain and expand relationships with local schools, libraries, and community organisations. Identify and onboard new pilot partners, securing letters of intent and feedback. Coordinate events, registration, and workshop logistics. Gather testimonials and inclusion data for reporting.

B2C & B2B Engagement

Engage with parents, educators, and partners during workshops and through online channels. Promote feedback forms, newsletters, and sign-ups to grow the AiTechTouch community. Map schools and organisations interested in hosting future programmes. Support the Founder with partnership proposals and outreach materials.

Reporting & KPIs

Maintain the Community Engagement Tracker. Summarise outreach results and help prepare short monthly updates. Provide insights for Innovate UK reporting and early demand validation.

About You

You have 1-3 years' experience in outreach, partnerships, or community engagement. You're an excellent communicator who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, and sharing ideas. Confident using digital tools such as Google Sheets, Typeform, or Airtable to stay organise. Creative, proactive, and eager to learn, especially about how technology can make education more inclusive and inspiring. Have a genuine interest in education, community engagement, communications, or social innovation. A self-starter who works well independently and takes initiative to get things done. Comfortable collating and analysing data, drawing insights, and preparing short reports. Experience or interest in STEM, education, or social impact projects. Confident supporting community events or light coordination tasks. Aware of safeguarding, GDPR, and inclusion principles. Ideally based in or near Leeds for local engagement.
