Location: BLOQS, Edmonton, North London (N18)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday-Saturday as required)
Type: Permanent, on-site role
Salary: 30,000-35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Holiday: 20 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + 1 Celebration Day

The Role
We're looking for a Community & Partnerships Executive to join our team and help grow and nurture the BLOQS community.
You'll be responsible for converting new business enquiries, managing key member and partner relationships, and delivering engagement projects that strengthen our community and partnerships. You'll also collaborate with our marketing team to create content and PR stories that celebrate the people and projects that make BLOQS unique.
This role is perfect for someone with hands-on experience in a maker or workshop environment who's equally comfortable talking business, managing projects, and working with creative people.
Key Responsibilities
New Business & Conversion
Respond to and convert individual and corporate membership enquiries.
Build strong relationships with prospective members and partners to drive occupancy and engagement.
Identify and develop opportunities for new partnerships and collaborations.
Account & Partner Management
Manage day-to-day relationships with members and partners, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
Support onboarding processes, renewals, and account tracking.
Maintain accurate records using CRM and internal systems.
Marketing & Communications
Work closely with the marketing team to develop stories, case studies, and PR opportunities that showcase the BLOQS community.
Represent BLOQS at events, open days, and networking opportunities.
Project & Budget Management
Plan and deliver engagement projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports on engagement and conversion.
About You
You're a people person who thrives in creative environments and understands what makes makers tick. You combine commercial awareness with community spirit, and you're comfortable balancing structure and spontaneity in a busy, hands-on setting.
You'll bring:
- Experience in a maker, workshop, or creative production environment.
- Proven skills in business development, account, or membership management.
- Strong project and budget management capability.
- Excellent IT literacy (CRM, Google Workspace/Microsoft Office, and social platforms).
- A creative, organised, and adaptable approach.
- The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a close-knit team.
