Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, along with a thorough understanding of anatomy and medication administration.

Duties



Provide expert advice on the safe and effective use of medications to patients and healthcare professionals. Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy. Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and guidelines. Conduct patient consultations to assess medication needs, potential side effects, and interactions. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop comprehensive care plans for patients, especially those in critical care settings. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed and monitor patient outcomes related to medication therapy. Educate patients about their medications, including proper usage, storage, and potential side effects. Stay current with developments in pharmacology and best practices in pharmacy care.

Requirements



A valid Pharmacist licence recognised in the UK. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to pharmacology. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients and colleagues. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential for managing multiple prescriptions effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a patient-focused approach.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 55,000.00-62,000.00 per year

Schedule:

Flexitime Monday to Friday
