Due to a maternity leave an opportunity has arisen for a 12 month fixed term position to join the North Kerrier Community Rehab Team working as a specialist physiotherapist.
The post is for 11.25 hours per week. The service currently operates Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays)
The community team treat at a wide range of conditions including stroke, Parkinsons, orthopaedics, amputees and frailty. You will work closely with Team Leads, clinical Band 7 physiotherapists, community occupational therapy colleagues and support workers.
To provide a high standard physiotherapy service, performing
advanced assessments of patients including those with highly
complex presentations, and from this formulating a diagnosis and
treatment plan.
To provide leadership for support staff and junior staff through supervision, training and appraisal.
To participate in the planning and development of Physiotherapy Services within each team.
To work in a variety of settings predominantly community, but also supporting inpatients when required
