As a Podiatrist with us, you will have the opportunity to engage in both preventative and acute care, particularly focusing on foot health pathologies associated with long-term conditions such as diabetes and inflammatory Arthropathies.



This is an opportunity for HCPC Registered Podiatrists, who have a flexible approach to service provision with the ability to work as part of a team as well as individually. All team members are supported and developed through a structured annual appraisal process.



As Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin covers rural communities, you will need to demonstrate that you are able to meet the travel requirements for this role.

To be responsible for the assessment, planning and provision of high quality programmes of podiatric care in both acute and community settings.



Acting as the lead clinician in Nail Surgery clinics where surgical procedures are performed under Local Anaesthetic.



Routine assessment and provision of specialist Podiatry competencies i.e. MSK, wound management etc.



Management of patients with complex pathologies in order to maintain mobility, independence and lower limb viability.



To maintain compliance with excellent Infection prevention and control standards.
