This is a vital role where your ability to plan, prioritise, and communicate will directly support service delivery, contributing to the wellbeing and independence of those we work with..
You'll be responsible for coordinating and managing the rotas of our skilled Rehab Therapy Assistants. Working closely with Team Leaders and other professionals, you'll help ensure smooth daily operations, support timely interventions, and maintain the quality and consistency of care across the service.
Experience in health or social care settings, especially in a coordination or administrative capacity, is desirable but not essential.
Please Note: this is a new role and therefore will be submitted for re-evaluation which may result in a higher or lower banding.
Main duties of the job
Your key responsibilities will include:
Taking overall responsibility for the scheduling system, ensuring no service user is left without support.
Managing and administering the Electronic Rostering system.
Organising cover for sickness, annual leave, training, and emergencies.
Supporting the delivery of a 7-day service, monitoring rotas to stay within budgeted hours.
Liaising with Team Leaders and managers, especially where staff are assigned to individuals with complex needs.
Maintaining accurate staff and service user records within the rostering system.
Responding quickly and flexibly to staffing changes and service demands.
We're seeking someone who is:
Highly organised with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
Confident using scheduling and/or rostering systems (training provided if needed).
A strong communicator, able to work collaboratively with teams at all levels.
Calm under pressure and able to adapt to changing priorities.
Committed to high-quality, person-centred care.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
