Job Description

Community Safety Manager c60,000 per annum Home based with regular national travel. Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

As our Community Safety Manager, you will lead on initiatives that reduce antisocial behaviour, enhance wellbeing, and strengthen partnerships across local agencies. Your work will directly support vulnerable residents, improve neighbourhood safety, and ensure our organisation meets its responsibilities around community protection.


You will take ownership of our community safety strategy, collaborate with external partners such as local authorities and police, and provide expert guidance across the organisation. This is a key leadership role with the scope to make a real and lasting impact.

What will success look like in the role?

Safer, more cohesive communities with measurable reductions in anti-social behaviour and safety-related incidents. Strong, productive partnerships with multi-agency stakeholders. Effective delivery of community safety programmes and compliance frameworks. Clear, confident advice provided to internal teams, driving a consistent approach to safety and risk. Positive feedback from residents, partners, and colleagues on the visibility and effectiveness of safety initiatives.

You'll have:

Experience leading community safety, safeguarding, public protection, or related services within a housing setting. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and best practice. A strategic mindset with the ability to manage complex caseloads and competing priorities. Excellent communication, influencing, and partnership-building skills. Experience working with vulnerable individuals and managing sensitive information A proactive, problem-solving approach with the confidence to make informed decisions.
