We are seeking Community Support Workers to assist adults with learning disabilities in their own home and while out in the community. One particular role is supporting a young male adult who lives with his parents. You will support with walks, drives, going to the seaside, or perhaps helping with activities at home like painting. All our community roles are lone working, but don't worry - we provide full training and support. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to use your own car for work.

Requirements:



You will need a friendly, patient and outgoing personality Strong communication skills, being able to pick up on both verbal and non-verbal cues You will need a passion to help others and make a difference in the community You will be capable of working both independently as well as part of a team A full UK driving licence along with a car you can use for work is essential for this role Experienced? Then we will value and offer to enhance the skills you bring! New to social care - no problem, as we have excellent internal training for all support staff.

Main responsibilities



To provide person-centred support to the people who use our services. To follow the support plans of the people we support and any other relevant documentation To support all people in line with their individual communication needs Assist with daily living activities, which may include meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene. Maintain open communication with the people we support, their families and within the staffing team to ensure needs are met effectively.
