The role is similar to a Health Care Assistant in that you will be delivering great care and supporting reablement for people in mainly in their own homes. This is a developmental role, developing from Band 2 to Band 3.
You will be within the HomeFirst Carrick team, covering areas including Falmouth, Penryn, Truro and Perranporth. Travel costs for journeys during work time are supported and pool cars are also available for work use, although not guaranteed. You will need to demonstrate good communication skills and a positive approach to people who may have communication difficulties or who have challenging health needs.
You will be part of a dedicated team and will be provided with bespoke training to support your development in this role.
