Job Description

We are seeking a Community Care Worker who would be interested in supporting an elderly man in his own home for a few hours a day Monday to Friday. Assisting with personal care, housework and shopping as well as contribute to his well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities in accordance with individual care plans.

Community Care services can encompass a wide range of activities, including assistance with personal care (such as bathing, dressing, and grooming), medication management, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and support with mobility.

Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, families, and other members of the healthcare team.

Monitor and report changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not mandatory.

Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.

Willingness to undergo relevant training and development.

MUST have a valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 16 per week
