We are looking for a Community Care Assistant to assist people within own homes and who may have disabilities and other impairments in achieving greater independence and quality of life.

As a Community Care Assistant, you will help people with day to day care and support. Including, personal care, supporting with medication, completing and supporting with household tasks like making beds and cleaning dishes, shopping and companionship.

We are looking for an individual who's passionate about the welfare of others, has a good sense of humour and can offer support in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with activities of daily living. Assist individuals with performing activities of daily living (ADLs); perform basic housekeeping functions, including laundry and cleaning; assist individuals with shopping and meal preparation; and assist individuals with transportation. Communicate with others verbally or in writing using the company App, including reporting work status to supervisor, giving or receiving information; participating in staff meetings, and completing required forms. Provide Support to people who have a variety of physical, cognitive, emotional and behavioural impairments.
Requirements.

Due to our service being community based, we require our candidates to hold a full UK driving licence and have the use of their own vehicle, which would require insurance to cover business use.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
