Become a volunteer driver for Westbank Community Health and Care!

Westbank Community Health and Care is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of individuals in the local community and beyond. As a registered charity, we strive to make a positive impact through various community-focused initiatives.

Not everyone has access to a car or a friendly face to help them get to appointments or social activities. As a volunteer driver for Westbank, you can make a real difference in your community in many ways.

You could be helping patients who don't qualify for hospital transport services and have no one else to take them home (covering the footprint of the RDUH hospital in Exeter), also supporting local residents of Exminster and Starcross in getting to their medical appointments, or providing rides to and from social groups and activities organised by Westbank.

Additionally, you might deliver accessibility equipment, move furniture for hospital beds, or do a food shop for someone returning from the hospital.

Our driver roles are incredibly flexible, with no set time commitment required. You can volunteer as much or as little as fits your schedule.
