Due to their continued and sustained growth, W&A are delighted to be supporting their recruitment as M Squared is seeking a capable Company Accountant to help support this next stage.
Role Profile
As Company Accountant, youll play a critical role in managing and optimising the businesss financial function. You will lead on forecasting, cashflow, reporting, and compliance, helping drive informed decision-making and sustainable growth.
This is a hands-on and varied position that would suit someone who enjoys getting close to the detail while making a broader strategic impact.
Key Responsibilities

• Financial forecasting, budgeting, and MI dashboard development
• Cashflow management and reporting
• Oversight of compliance and internal financial controls
• Month-end and year-end reporting
• Bookkeeping and ledger maintenance using Xero
• Risk management and financial analysis

Person Profile

• A qualified accountant but applicants that are qualified by experience who can evidence theyve succeeded in a similar role will also be considered
• Experience of working in an SME environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory frameworks
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting platforms (Xero preferred)
• Comfortable preparing detailed budgets and forecasts
• Analytical, detail-focused, and solutions-driven
• A collaborative communicator who thrives in dynamic environments
