Job Description

We are seeking a

fully qualified and experienced Part-Time Accountant

to manage the accounts of our group company. We are a private business specialising in

commercial construction and property development

, and we are looking for someone highly organised, proactive, and reliable to take full ownership of our accounting function.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records Process and manage invoices, payments, and receipts Prepare and submit accounts and VAT returns in line with HMRC deadlines Produce regular management reports, cash flow updates, and financial summaries Work closely with management to support business decisions and maintain financial health

Requirements:

Fully qualified accountant

(ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent) - this is essential Strong experience in bookkeeping, VAT submissions, and accounts preparation Knowledge of accounting software and excellent Excel skills Highly organised with strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and take full responsibility for the role

Working Hours & Location:

Part-time role
