Summary
We are seeking a Company Accountant to join our team at H & S CONSTRUCTION (SOT) LIMITED. This role is crucial for maintaining our financial health and supporting our growth within the construction sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing insightful financial analysis.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
Oversee accounts payable and ensure timely processing of invoices.
Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and accounts.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning.
Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with HMRC requirements.
Assist with payroll processing and pension contributions.
Provide mentorship to junior finance staff as needed.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Liaise with external accountants, and other stakeholders as necessary
Requirements
ACCA/CA/CIMA qualified
Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Excel
Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members.

Pay: 31,000.00-40,000.00 per year
