Job Summary



We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Company Secretarial Assistant to support our team in a fast-paced office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and demonstrate proficiency in various administrative tasks. This role is essential for ensuring smooth daily operations and providing exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities



Assisting in the preparation, review and submission of formal documents to Companies House, such as Confirmation Statements. Assisting in the drafting of board minutes, resolutions, and other corporate documents and forms for client projects, such as share buybacks, share re-designations, capital reductions, share for share exchange, etc. Assist in ensuring compliance with Company Law, including the Companies Act and other relevant legislation. Maintaining the statutory records. Liaising with our third-party storage provider to ensure records are stored and filed correctly. Taking responsibility for individual assignments, ensuring the effective and timely delivery and the quality of service meets the firm's aims. Ensuring that the firm's systems and processes are followed by all team members who undertake Company Secretarial work.

Personal and Technical Skills:



Team player; Commercial awareness and understanding of the business environment we are operating in; Computer literacy; Time management and priority setting. Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities Proficient computer skills including advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience and Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ideally experience in practice environment. Strong academic performance in GCSEs or A-levels, or relevant higher education qualifications.

Other requirements & details about the role:



Full driving licence, with access to car would be preferable. Base office will be our Chelmsford office but the role will require you to visit our other offices in Southend & Basildon from time to time. Mileage costs will be paid for inter-office and client travel.
