Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programmes that align with legal and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of compliance controls and procedures.
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues.
Provide training and support to employees on compliance-related matters, ensuring they understand their responsibilities.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
Prepare reports on compliance activities for senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
Stay updated on changes in legislation and industry standards that may impact the organisation's operations.
Lead investigations into compliance breaches or concerns, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a compliance role or similar position, preferably within a regulated industry.
Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to compliance.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively.
Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
