Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organisation adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This position involves overseeing compliance initiatives, providing guidance to staff, and fostering a culture of integrity and accountability within the organisation. Strong leadership and supervisory skills are essential for managing compliance activities effectively.

Responsibilities



Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programmes that align with legal and regulatory requirements. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of compliance controls and procedures. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues. Provide training and support to employees on compliance-related matters, ensuring they understand their responsibilities. Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations. Prepare reports on compliance activities for senior management and regulatory bodies as required. Stay updated on changes in legislation and industry standards that may impact the organisation's operations. Lead investigations into compliance breaches or concerns, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a compliance role or similar position, preferably within a regulated industry. Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to compliance. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively. Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 22,893.75-55,783.95 per year

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
