to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting staff between their homes and work sites, ensuring punctuality and safety at all times. Overtime may be available to cover holidays and sickness.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport employees to and from sites in line with shift schedules.
Adhere to assigned hours of work, which may vary based on business needs:
Days: 04:00 - 09:00
Nights: 15:00 - 20:00
(start and finish times may change depending on operational requirements)
Conduct daily vehicle checks, including oil, water, and general serviceability.
Record and report any defects or damage immediately.
Refuel vehicles as needed, ensuring no vehicle is left with less than half a tank.
Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles (inside and out).
Ensure required safety equipment (first aid kit, torch, fire extinguisher, spare wheel & tools) is present in all vehicles.
Complete and submit Incident Reports for all accidents, alarm activations, or unusual occurrences during shifts.
Carry out additional tasks when requested, such as delivering invoices or equipment.
Requirements
Valid UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months.
Clean driving record with
0 penalty points or disqualifications
.
Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism.
Ability to work flexible and irregular hours.
Additional Information
Drivers are fully responsible for vehicles signed out during their shift, including any penalties, damage, or neglect while in use.
Access to the Control Room is restricted unless authorised; all necessary items will be issued by designated staff.
