Role: Compensation & Rewards SME Lead

Location: Dubai / Hybrid (with flexibility based on client requirements)

Day Rate: USD 800-1,000

Contract: Project-based, expected Nov/Dec start

About the Project



We are supporting a major client engagement in Dubai, delivering a multi-country Compensation & Rewards Benchmarking project across the media and investment sectors.

The project covers:

Market benchmarking and data analytics across GCC and global comparators Compensation survey design, normalisation, and analysis Sector-specific insights into reward structures and allowances Change & implementation support for new total rewards frameworks
This is a high-profile engagement requiring experienced contractors to deliver alongside Proservartner's leadership team.

Role Overview - Compensation & Rewards SME Lead



The Compensation & Rewards SME Lead will act as the subject matter expert for total rewards design, guiding both the client and project team. You will bring thought leadership and practical design expertise to shape compensation frameworks across multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design of total rewards strategies including grading frameworks, compensation bands, STI/LTI schemes, and GCC allowance structures. Advise client HR leaders on benchmarking best practices and global reward trends. Provide frameworks and design principles for equitable, competitive compensation packages. Support Proservartner and client teams in translating benchmarking insights into actionable recommendations. Ensure project outputs are high quality, client-ready, and aligned with best-in-class methodologies.

Candidate Requirements



12-15 years of experience in compensation & rewards. Strong background in total rewards design, grading, and incentive planning. Previous consulting experience with Mercer, WTW, Korn Ferry, or similar firms is highly valued. Excellent stakeholder management and the presence to engage with senior executives. Ability to work in hybrid/remote settings, with availability to travel if needed.
