Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented experienced Administrator to join our hard working & friendly team.

The NSRA Competitions Department is a busy environment, providing competitions for a variety of shooting disciplines, all year round.

These include including our British Open Air Gun competitions in February and our National Rifle Meeting in August, the latter being one of the biggest Small Bore Prone competitions in the world.

This is a hands-on and varied role which would suit someone with excellent administration skills and an attention to detail. Responsibilities are varied including general clerical duties including data entry and filing, Manage and organise documents and records, handling enquiries via the phone and email, taking payments and preparing competition information and results.

The Administrator will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the smooth operation of our competitions department. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as proficiency in data entry. We also use specialised, bespoke software for which full training will be given.

This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) based in the NSRA Offices located at Lord Roberts Centre, Bisley Camp, Brookwood Woking GU24 0NP. The standard working week is 35 hrs and weekend work may be required during competition periods.

Duties:



- Perform general clerical duties, including data entry and filing

- Manage and organize documents and records.

- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel.

- Handling of enquiries from members and seeing through to completion.

- Provide excellent phone etiquette and customer service.

Skills:



Proven experience in an administrative role with excellent administration skills.

Proficient in data entry and computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential

Provide excellent phone etiquette and customer service.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and prioritise tasks efficiently

Able to work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines

To Pro-actively take ownership of a task and ensure all members of the department are kept up to date with status.

Personal confidence to ask questions to co-ordinate responses

Knowledge of shooting would be desirable but not essential. Full training will be given.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 22,932.00 per year
