Summary

We are seeking an experienced Compex Electrician to join our team at Industratech Limited. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in explosive atmospheres.

This work involves installation of containment and wiring of power, controls and communications in a hazardous environment.

Some of the sites you will be attending will range from automotive, manufacturing, chemical processes and process heating.

Responsibilities

Carry out visual, close and detailed inspections Site electrical installations to include installation of control panels, motor and field device connections on hazardous area sites. Read and follow electrical schematics for installations and fault finding purposes. Inspection & testing of existing electrical systems and new installations Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions promptly. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used using our CRM Software Adhere to all safety protocols while working on-site.

Requirements

Compex Ex01 - Ex04 minimum Industrial electrical experience in hazardous areas Have a good understanding of industrial control panels and PLC systems. Have experience with control panel modifications or building. ECS Gold Card Time served apprenticeship, AM2 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation Ability to understand and interpret wiring diagrams and schematic drawings 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Full UK Driving License - Company van provided Ability to work away from home as required Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail IT literate with office based platforms Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with support provided by our engineers.

Pay: From 50,000.00 per year
