About the Role




We are seeking an experienced IRATA Level 3 Rope Access / CompEx Electrician to join our team on a long-term contract at the Fife Ethylene Plant (FEP), ExxonMobil.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile industrial project within a well-established, safety-driven environment.


You will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installation and maintenance works via rope access methods, ensuring all work meets the highest safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities



Perform electrical installation, inspection, and maintenance tasks in hazardous areas. Lead and supervise rope access activities as an IRATA Level 3 Technician, ensuring compliance with IRATA and site safety procedures. Conduct daily toolbox talks, rescue plans, and work-at-height risk assessments. Liaise with project management, electrical supervisors, and client representatives. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all works meet CompEx and industry standards.

Essential Qualifications & Experience



IRATA Level 3 Certification (current) CompEx EX01-EX04 Certification City & Guilds / SVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Qualification 18th Edition Wiring Regulations First Aid at Work Certificate (must be in-person; online not accepted) Strong industrial / petrochemical site experience preferred

Two pay bands are available depending on experience and skills brought to the role:

Radius or Lodge Allowance:

+ Radius payment for local workers (within 35 miles)
+ Lodge payment of 337.12 per week for non-locals (>35 miles)
