Job Title: Complex Care Adult Nurse

The role at Josh's Care Company:

Rate of pay:

45,000 - 50,000 per annum dependant on experience.

Location:

Main office in Barlborough - S43 4PZ.

Contract:

Permanent

Hours:

40 hours per week

Times:

Office based but flexibility required around the needs of the service users. You will need to be

flexible to meet the needs of your caseload when training and competency assessing new team members.

About the role:

We are a community-centred provider of comprehensive care services. Our mission is to get together dedicated teams of support workers and offer compassionate assistance to individuals with complex conditions within their homes.

We are in search of a passionate individual who can contribute their expertise in clinical training and guidance. In this role, you will play an integral part in training essential skills required for the role to our staff. Such as Basic Life Support training, Moving and Handling, Bowel Care, Tracheostomy Care, Peg Feeding, Ventilation etc.

We are now expanding our adult services and are very excited to be recruiting for a registered adult nurse.

To be considered for this position, you will need:

Flexible availability.

A current DBS if possible (Paper or Update Service)

A driving license and access to a vehicle

As a vital member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

Writing detailed and personalised Care Plans to ensure the utmost well-being of our service users. Expertly managing the complex care needs of a region of clients. Delivering comprehensive training to our dedicated staff, equipping them with the knowledge and clinical skills required for the role. Demonstrating your proficiency in supporting complex patients, providing them with the specialised care and attention they are entitled to. Playing a crucial role in the commencement of new care packages. Assessing and signing off competence. Leadership and management experience in supporting teams, including running team meetings, and ensuring that staff are providing high quality care to the people we support.

The candidate that we are looking for has:

Nursing experience (At least 1 year)

Registered with the NMC

Good communication skills

A knowledge of complex care (Preferred)

Leadership and Management (at least 1 year)
