We are seeking a

dedicated

Complex Care Support Worker to join our

amazing Residential team

in Louth.


You will provide

essential care

to individuals with sensory loss and learning disabilities who display challenging behaviours. This role requires someone who is

confident in their abilities

, as it involves substantial lone working and supporting non-verbal individuals in their homes and out in the community. The role of a complex support worker is to support six individuals with complex learning disabilities in there home environment to live a fulfilled life and have access to meaningful activities.


There are various

permanent

contracts available, working

7 - 30.5 hours

per week. You must be able to work a shift pattern, with shifts starting at 7am on an early and finish at 10pm on a late and be able to work every other weekend.


We are offering an hourly rate from

12.50

with

enhanced rates for overtime and annual pay reviews/ rises.



If you live outside of Louth to be considered for the role you will need use of your own vehicle to get to and from the service for early/late shifts due to very limited public transport.

No two days will be the same

This role might include supporting people with:



Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning. Personal care and hygiene. Finances. Medication and wellbeing. Going into the community for shopping or other trips. Their social life and nightlife. You can see a more detailed description of duties in the job description attached at the bottom of this advert.

Please note, this role may include regular sleep-in shifts paid at

50 a night

(This means sleeping over at the residence, with the possibility you might have to wake up to provide care in the night.)
