Part time position

week 1: 2:1 12hrs per night Monday and Friday

week 2: 1:1 12 hrs night on a Wednesday

Summary

As a Home Care Aide at UK Phoenix Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals in their daily lives. Your contributions will ensure that our clients receive the compassionate care they need to maintain their dignity and independence.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate records of client care and progress.

Set up overnight feed, help around the home, monitor saturations and heart rate, suction and provide tracheostomy care

Requirements

Experience in home care or a related field is preferred. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to develop and follow care plans effectively. Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care. Basic IT skills for documentation purposes are beneficial.

Tracheostomy experience required
