A primary SEND school in
Hampton
is seeking a dedicatedLearning Support Assistant (LSA)
to join their team and support in acomplex needs class
of nine pupils. The ideal candidate will be confident in managing behaviour and able to provide tailored support to children with a range of additional needs.You will work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment that meets each child's individual needs. Patience, empathy, and consistency are essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with complex needs in their learning and daily routines Implement behaviour management strategies effectively and calmly Assist the teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons Provide 1:1 or small group support when required Encourage independence and social development
Requirements:
Experience working with SEND children, particularly those with complex needs Strong behaviour management skills A patient, caring, and resilient approach Available full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 3:00 pm)
Pay:
88-95 per day (PAYE)
