The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our Compliance team in the role of Compliance Officer.
Successful candidates would need to have a keen eye for detail, be a team player and be able to work independently. The following would be desirable when evaluating candidates for this role:
Experience in dealing with compliance and administration within an educational environment (further education preferred);
Experience in the use of MIS systems i.e. Maytas and/or CRM
What you will be doing:
In the role of Compliance Officer, you'll be responsible for the following:
Support the Head Office (Compliance and MIS teams) with the day-to-day implementation of all Compliance and MIS administrative processes and procedures for Strive Training ensuring they are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Responsible for accurate compliance of internal and external audits relating to GLA/ASF funding streams.
Check source documents for accuracy and completeness before they are entered on the learner record data system.
Verify identity documents and complete all required eligibility checks as required.
Responsible for ensuring all data entries and learner inputs are accurate and compliant with GLA/ASF regulations.
Complete and sign off learner's agreement once learner is deemed eligible.
Gather all completion documentation and add it to the learner's folder.
Record and distribute learner achievement certificates to learners on completion of their programme ensuring that all required documentation is in place.
Ensure that all learners enrolled on Strive's learner record system (Maytas) meet funding and audit rules.
Ensure all subcontracting providers' targets and requirements are met.
Support and assist with internal and external audits as required.
Support the Head Office (Compliance and MIS team) with enrolment duties as required.
Support the Head Office team (Compliance and MIS team) with all data entering upon compliance check.
Supporting the MIS Lead with running monthly Maytas reports to ensure errors logs are reviewed and data entry is clean, in line with the ILR validation, before polling to the ILR.
Running regular reports in conjunction with the MIS Lead to analyse and report on learner data.
Working with other teams to resolve queries, obtaining missing documents and general day to day support.
Support with telephone communication and enquiries in a professional manner.
Attend team meetings as and when required.
Ensure any safeguarding concerns are escalated to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Legislation and all other relevant legislation.
Undertake any other administrative duties commensurate with the post.
