About the role

As a Compliance and Ethics Assistant, supporting the firm\xe2\x80\x99s Anti-Money Laundering ("AML") program, DAC6 and other compliance programs across our global offices. You will also be supporting the Office of General Counsel on special projects on an as-needed basis. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting intensive corporate research, verifying client identification and collecting documentation promptly to support compliance efforts across various jurisdictions;
  • Responding to queries from lawyers and professional staff in a timely manner and monitoring multiple email inboxes. This includes offering a response to high-priority notifications and taking into account various risk factors;
  • Assisting with the monitoring of the implementation of UK sanctions, and undertaking research related to the firm\xe2\x80\x99s screening program;
  • Working with the Compliance & DAC6 Senior Analysts to ensure assessments, courses and forms have been completed by the appropriate deadlines.
  • Assisting with ad hoc special projects such as travel queries due to Brexit and the Posted Workers Directive.
