We are looking for a highly motivated, productive and proactive individual with experience of operations and compliance management with a strong focus on compliance in a regulatory environment, policy and procedure management, service improvement and project management.
The successful candidate will need to ensure the Practice is compliant with all regulatory requirements, service development and delivery of key targets across a range of clinical and administrative areas. They will also need to work collaboratively with the whole staff team and work effectively as part of a team and individually to develop and implement strategies.

Experience
Previous health care management experience is not essential for this role; however, individuals will have to demonstrate transferable knowledge and skills and be able to quickly learn new systems. Ideally, we would like someone with excellent understanding of Optum (Emis) and QOF.

Job description
To support the Practice Manager with the day-to-day running of the Practice.
To have excellent IT skills including competency in EMIS (Optum) (and attached software), Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook plus have the ability to learn and work with accountancy and Docman software.
To help maintain records, policies and protocols for Statutory, CQC and GMS and GDPR requirements.
CORE REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
To help meet the Quality and Outcome Framework target by overseeing and running specific ad hoc recall projects when required. Oversee training of other staff on all aspect of recall.
Leading the management of the clinical system, ensuring IT security and IG compliance at all times and responding to and resolving all local IT issues.
Maintain the significant event database, providing advice to staff and briefing the team at meetings as required
To assist in day to day IT problem solving/reporting for the Practice.
To help maintain records, operational policies and protocols for statutory, CQC and GMS requirements.
Liaison with suppliers and contractors when support/remedial action is required.
To attend meetings and assist in taking minutes when required.
Assisting in coordinating property maintenance projects/servicing visits.
To update and maintain text messaging services.
To assist with putting on weekly appointments.
To support with any issues/changes/updates relating to appointment schedule of all clinicians and updating templates and EMIS.
To assist with weekly room rotas for surgery and PCN staff.
