We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Compliance Assistant to join our Estates team at Haberdashers' Elstree Schools. This is a fantastic opportunity to play an important role in supporting a high-performing organisation that prides itself on excellence, integrity, and genuine social purpose.

Working closely with the Compliance Manager and our wider professional services teams, you will help ensure that our schools remain fully compliant with regulatory, health and safety, and data protection requirements. Your work will directly support safe, secure, and well-managed learning environments for our pupils and colleagues.

In this varied and rewarding role, you will assist with internal compliance audits, contribute to the preparation of risk assessments and local management arrangements, and help maintain accurate asset and health and safety records. You will liaise with external consultants, support inspection readiness, update school policies, and provide administrative support to areas including estates training, security, and data protection processes.

We are looking for someone organised, conscientious, and eager to learn. You will bring strong administrative and spreadsheet skills, a keen eye for detail, and a calm, methodical approach to your work. Experience in an independent school is welcomed but not essential; what matters most is your commitment to safeguarding, your ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contractors, and your readiness to contribute to the ongoing success of our schools.
