About the Role




As a Compliance Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining Cofton Holidays high safety and operational standards. Working closely with our Maintenance Manager and Compliance Team, youll carry out essential checks and monitoring tasks that help keep our facilities safe, compliant, and running smoothly.


This is a varied, hands-on role, ideal for someone with a good practical mindset and a keen eye for detail. From ensuring our outlets are flushed and emergency lights are tested, to checking fire doors and monitoring temperatures, your work will help us deliver a safe and exceptional environment for both guests and staff.


Your Key Responsibilities




Carry out regular flushing of outlets in line with Legionella control procedures. Complete routine temperature checks of water systems. Undertake emergency light testing and record results accurately. Inspect and record ladder checks, fire door checks, and lint removal tasks. Perform biomass boiler checks and report findings. Maintain accurate records of all compliance activities. Report faults, hazards, or maintenance issues promptly to the Maintenance Manager or Compliance Officer. Support the wider maintenance and compliance teams with other tasks as required. Adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental procedures.

What Were Looking For




A clean driving licence is preferred. Competent, practical, and able to work independently with a methodical approach. Basic understanding or interest in plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance. Knowledge or awareness of Legionella control and compliance processes is desirable (training provided). Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards. Physically fit and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors. Good record-keeping and communication skills. A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
