The Meath's beautiful Grade II listed manor house, together with our high-needs facility, Bradbury House, and the Meath Skills and Enterprise Centre, are all set in landscaped grounds. As the Quality & Compliance Assistant, you will have working knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding principles, supporting the day-to-day responsibilities of the Quality & Compliance Manager in safeguarding and continuously improving the standards of care, safety, and governance across The Meath. The post-holder will help embed our values of

Your duties and the experience required of a Quality & Compliance Officer will include, but not be limited to:



Assist with ongoing monitoring of CQC standards, Fundamental Standards, NICE guidance and other statutory requirements as directed by the Q&C Manager.

Support the Q&C Manager to track actions from audits, inspection reports, PIR returns, safeguarding notifications and statutory submissions.

Carry out scheduled and ad-hoc audits (on-site and remote) covering medication management, person-centred care, infection prevention, finance handling, environment & H&S as directed by the Q&C Manager and collate findings.

Collate data in order for the Q&C Manager to draft and format monthly quality reports, board packs and stakeholder briefings.

Assist with data collection and administrative duties as directed by the Q&C Manager.

Essential:



Experience working in social-care, healthcare or a regulated setting.

Working knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding principles.

Confident in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams).

Strong written skills - able to produce clear, evidence-based reports.

Excellent verbal communication and active-listening skills.

Analytical, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.

Comfortable working independently on-site visits and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Resident-centred, respectful and inclusive.

Proactive, solutions-focused and keen to learn.

Desirable:



Previous audit / quality-assurance experience.

Familiarity with policy writing, project work or service development.

Data-visualisation or dashboard skills (e.g., Power BI, Excel pivots).
