The role
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious graduate level individual to join our Compliance team in a generalist role. This role offers an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in the insurance industry, while gaining valuable experience in compliance practice and regulations. This individual will join the Compliance team in supporting all entities within the TFP Group, providing hands-on experience across differing domestic and international regulatory environments and insurance business set-ups.
In January 2023, the Fidelis Insurance Group was re-structured including the launch of TFP with its own Compliance Team. TFP operates in a unique way because the capital providers have delegated to TFP a wider range of insurer activities including underwriting; claims; actuarial and ceded.
An opportunity has risen for a Compliance Graduate to join the TFP Group at an exciting time, following TFP's significant growth since January 2023, including establishing as a Lloyd's of London Coverholder, with the TFP Syndicate 3123 being managed for us by Asta.

Key accountabilities
Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
Support the team to keep up-to-date with new regulatory requirements, including analysis of new rules.
Grow your skills by participating in some of the many exciting business development projects that the Compliance team is involved in.
Provide support and co-ordinate regulatory applications and reporting.
Assist in creating and delivering training sessions on compliance related topics across the business.
Assist in the creation and distribution of online compliance training - e.g. financial crime and conduct.
Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of compliance throughout the organisation.
Assist with the distribution of Terms of Business Agreement contracts, and respond to Know Your Customer requests.
Assist with the collation and analysis of management information.
Support the drafting of board and management reports.
Assist in resolving business compliance questions and financial crime related issues.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities.

Skills & experience
Degree in Law, Finance, Business or related field or other equivalent qualifications or other degrees.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely explain complex information to colleagues across the business.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced organisation
Attention to detail and commitment to upholding ethical standards.
Strong written communication skills, including familiarity with Word and PowerPoint and ideally Excel
