Overview



We are seeking an experienced and proactive

Compliance Manager

to oversee and drive excellence across all aspects of care delivery at a well-established residential care home in

Worcester

.

This is a rewarding role within a growing care group, supporting residents living with dementia and elderly care needs. The successful candidate will ensure the home remains fully compliant with relevant legislation and sector standards, while maintaining the highest levels of resident wellbeing and operational performance.

We are looking for a confident and hands-on professional with experience in care home leadership, who can support staff, streamline compliance processes, and foster strong partnerships with clinical and community stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead and support the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring a safe, person-centred environment. Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, infection prevention protocols, health & safety, and local authority requirements. Write care plans to ensure they are tailored, updated, and aligned with individual resident needs. Carry out regular audits, risk assessments, and ensure prompt action plans are implemented. Coordinate admissions and assessments, maintaining good occupancy levels through effective bed management. Manage staffing rotas to ensure adequate coverage and skill mix across the home. Supervise and develop team members, promoting best practice and high standards of care. Liaise with families, GPs, pharmacies, hospitals, and multidisciplinary teams to meet residents' clinical and personal needs. Report regularly to senior management on home performance, staffing, compliance, and quality outcomes.

What We're Looking For



Minimum 3 years' management experience in an elderly/dementia care home setting. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Strong understanding of CQC requirements and evidence-based care practices. Skilled in people management, rota planning, and team development. Organised, solutions-focused and comfortable working across clinical, operational and compliance areas. Confident communicator and relationship-builder with residents, staff and external agencies.

Contract:

Full-time, Permanent

Salary Range:

30k - 40k depending on experience

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with flexibility required.
