Cawood Scientific are looking for a

Compliance Coordinator

to join our Quality team, on a

full-time permanent basis

, based in

Bracknell.



The Role:

As the compliance coordinator you will support the Compliance Manager in the maintenance of accreditation status to ISO/IEC 17025 and to assist the SRP in discharging the laboratory's legal duties in respect of all relevant aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation. You will manage all requirements of Compliance at the NRM Bracknell & Swaffham site.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance of equipment records, arranging external calibrations.

Control of documents and records, in accordance with the Quality Management System procedures.

Carrying out audits of laboratory activities, in accordance with a schedule determined by the Compliance Manager.

Administration of proficiency testing data. This includes, ensuring the samples are registered and tested on time, that results are correctly reported to the PT provider within the deadlines. Reviewing and summarising the results that are returned from the scheme, highlighting non-conforming data and ensuring appropriate investigations are carried out.

Assisting the Compliance Manager with administration of the non-conforming work and customer complaints systems.

Preparing data for KPI reporting to senior management, monthly compliance meetings and annual review meetings.

Attendance at monthly compliance meetings and annual review meetings.

Preparation of information for annual UKAS audits, attendance at audits and subsequent collation of data for close out of actions.

Monitoring Internal Control data and recalculating/updating/applying new limits where appropriate.

Assisting the Compliance Manager to manage the H&S policy

Any other reasonable requests as defined by the Compliance Manager.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

Knowledge of ISO 17025 and experience in ISO17025 accredited laboratory

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Excellent level of attention to detail.

Capability to work as part of a team and/or on own initiative and under pressure.

Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Possess a Scientific Background
