As a Compliance and Data Protection Manager, you will be ensuring the company follows all the rules and laws related to personal information, data protection, and money transactions. You will provide business-oriented, strategic support covering all compliance, data protection, and enterprise risk management aspects.

We are seeking a dedicated specialist with a strong background in compliance, policy development, and knowledge of GDPR. This role is crucial in supporting our clients\xe2\x80\x99 adherence to global regulations and licensing requirements for payment technology, ensuring seamless operations in today\xe2\x80\x99s complex international business environment.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:
Compliance Expertise:

  • Serve as the in-house authority on GDPR and other global compliance regulations.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in international labor laws and regulatory requirements.
Certification and Compliance Management:
  • Maintain and update compliance certifications to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Provide guidance on compliance strategies and best practices for clients.
Licensing Requirements:
  • Stay up-to-date with licensing requirements for payment technology across various jurisdictions.
  • Advise clients on necessary licenses and permits for their specific operations.
Policy Development:
  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures tailored to each client\xe2\x80\x99s unique needs.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance in policy enforcement and updates.
Client Consultation:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance on compliance-related matters.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop strategies for maintaining legal and regulatory compliance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the technical and operational teams to ensure compliance is integrated into software functionalities.
  • Collaborate with legal and regulatory affairs teams to stay aligned with evolving global standards.
Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in compliance management, data protection, and enterprise risk management within a multinational company
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Law, Compliance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in compliance management, with a focus on GDPR and international labour laws.
  • Certification in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of licensing requirements for payment technology.
  • Strong policy development and implementation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
