Compliance Director (Technical)




Semperian Group are looking to recruit a Compliance Director (Technical) on a full time, permanent contract basis. This role can be based either in Daresbury or from home if based in the Midlands. Travel will be required.


The Compliance Director is to support contractual compliance with a focus on statutory, mandatory and good practice standards for infrastructure and engineering systems on Group PFI schemes.

Responsibilities



Provide judgement and good advice on key matters associated with infrastructure and engineering as and where it may be required or add value - providing feedback relevant to (but not necessarily limited to) your own competencies, experience and judgment in these areas. Review the compliance aspects of FM Co delivery that you will then feedback on, including both the levels of compliance (with contract and wider good practice standards mandated by law or the contract provisions) and any proposed measures necessary to close gaps or reduce risks as they are closed or mitigated (to bring contract back to compliance). Develop Service Improvement plans to define gaps and tasks needed by FM Cos to close any compliance gaps and associated risks. Support schemes that require additional support/investigation and/or that are going through significant strategic change programmes Coordinate and help manage where necessary, the appropriate 3rd party inputs on any targeted issue or specialist review (reporting regularly on progress and findings). Ensure the adoption of and adherence to all required Semperian Group Policies and Procedures (including QA). Support the continued promotion of compliance management within wider PFI/Healthcare industry and through representation at nominated working groups and/or trade bodies.

Requirements



Being able to assess, review FM Co/Project Co compliance gaps and instruct/lead necessary changes and or intervention to close these out in a timely manner Ability to work with a range of Senior PFI stakeholders & wider Investors (inc. Funders TA etc.) A deep understanding of compliance associated with Hard FM maintenance (inc. in healthcare) and engineering system/governance Extensive consulting / senior advisory experience Line management experience Budget holder experience Sound commercial understanding of PPP / PFI process and FM SLSs Degree level qualification in Building Engineering and/or Construction discipline or extensive senior level experience Great people skills and ability to coach down and report up etc. Successful DBS check of relevant level
