Compliance Executive

to join our Compliance team and play a key role in ensuring our firm meets regulatory, ethical and operational obligations.


In this varied and rewarding role, youll support our Head of Compliance and wider legal teams, carrying out essential compliance tasks across areas such as AML, due diligence, reporting, complaints handling, policy reviews and audit support. You will be involved at the early stages of the business process, helping to ensure our systems, procedures and client onboarding activities meet regulatory requirements from the outset.

Main Responsibilities

:


To support the first stages of the business from a compliance perspective Provide support to the Head of Compliance for the business area, the Director of Compliance and COLP/COFA in performing their duties Provide compliance support to the wider business Review marketing documentation Deal with complaints, concerns raised by clients of the business Support in the completion of due diligence, know your client and AML checks To support the annual review and updates required to all policies, procedures and standards across the business; Collate data for compliance reports, risk assessments, data reviews across different business areas together with data required for external reports (SRA, LeO, ICO) Provide administrative support to collaborative compliance projects across the group Assist and support with other tasks and projects as and when required to meet business needs Assist the Team in responding to the requirements of external auditors, companies or third parties, to include analysis of cases and such information as necessary to enable the firm to meet its requirements under any agreement. To assist with the firms LEXCEL assessment or such other accreditations the firm applies for

Essential Skills and Experience:




Relevant legal knowledge and experience Experience and understanding of working with Proclaim or a similar case management system Excellent analytical skills Good IT skills Ability to communicate effectively with others and work within a team Excellent attention to detail

Desirable Skills and Experience:




Experience working in a compliance environment
