Here at P&O Ferries we are seeking a Freight Support & Compliance Executive to join our team here in Ashford on a permanent role.
This is an opportunity to work as part of the Freight Sales team helping to ensure that you deliver exceptional customer service, maintain accurate systems and data and support freight operations and onboarding.
The successful candidate will have a proven record in delivering outstanding customer service by phone and/or email, maintaining accurate and compliant data systems, supporting cross-functional operations. The role is based in our Ashford office, is office based 8:30 am to 5pm.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Deliver exceptional customer service by acting as the first point of contact for freight customers, resolving queries and complaints professionally.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve booking, invoicing, and claims issues, contributing to customer satisfaction and revenue protection.
Support the onboarding of freight customers, ensuring they understand system access, documentation requirements, and processes.
Maintain accurate and compliant data across systems to support audit readiness and operational efficiency.
Assisting with Freight Operations when necessary to support business continuity.
Desirable:
Experience working within freight, logistics, or transport environments.
Additional Language
Location - Ashford, this role operates Monday to Friday.
