We are growing and are now seeking a dedicated and proactive HR & Compliance Assistant to support our team.
The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our close-knit team. As the HR & Compliance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day administration of our HR function and ensure we maintain the highest standards of compliance across the business. This role is a perfect blend of people-focused support and administrative rigour, contributing directly to our company's success.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Administration:
Assist with the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
Compliance and Documentation:
Maintain and update employee records (both digital and physical) and ensure all documentation, including licenses, certifications, and training records, is accurate and up-to-date.
Recruitment Support:
Help with the end-to-end recruitment process, from posting job adverts and screening candidates to scheduling interviews and preparing new starter packs.
Policy & Procedure:
Assist in implementing and communicating company policies and procedures, ensuring all staff are aware of their responsibilities.
General Support:
Act as a point of contact for employee queries, take meeting notes, and provide general administrative support to the management team.
Health & Safety:
Support the company's commitment to health and safety by helping to maintain compliance records and assisting with administrative tasks related to safety procedures.
Confidentiality:
Handle all employee information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
We are looking for someone with:
Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is desirable.
A strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection principles (GDPR).
Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and "can-do" attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
