Why we need this role

Are you an experienced compliance expert with a passion for resolving complex issues and making a difference? This is your chance to be part of our dynamic team. We're looking for someone skilled in implementing compliance capabilities within corporate organisations.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to develop and execute Colt's Compliance-by-Design program, incorporating industry best practices.
As a key member of our team, you'll execute group compliance reviews, support employee awareness and training, and prepare insightful management reports. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across Colt, identify gaps and develop sustainable solutions to complicated problems.

What you'll do
Support the implementation of industry best practice compliance methodologies and frameworks within Colt. Plan and deliver compliance playbook and toolkit. Develop and maintain effective business relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders. Collaborate with cross functional teams (legal, risk management, internal audit and business operational teams) to identify and address compliance issues and reach a successful, agreeable conclusion Support the development and delivery of compliance training and awareness campaigns to enhance and embed the compliance culture throughout Colt. Provide constructive challenge and work positively to find efficient solutions to compliance related matters. Keep abreast of regulatory developments to ensure compliance monitoring processes remain effective. Provide advisory support to the business teams on a range of compliance topics. Support the development of compliance reporting for management, Executive Leadership Team and Board. Identify opportunities for simplification, automation and innovation to continuously improve the compliance monitoring and management process.



What we look for

Experience
Educated to degree level in business, finance, legal or a related field An industry-recognised qualification (such as International Compliance Association (ICA)). Significant work experience (over 3 years) within a compliance team, operating in a similar role or environment Experience in the telecommunications industry, a distinct advantage Strong knowledge and demonstrable experience of implementing compliance frameworks, executing compliance reviews and embedding compliance practices within a globally, regulated organisation. Good understanding and interpretation of legal and contractual language. Good knowledge of the communications industry, products and processes and regulatory requirements, desirable. Previous experience in governance, risk, audit and legal, desirable.

Skills
Strong analytical and strategic thinking. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to audiences at all levels. The ability to challenge collaboratively to reach the right outcomes.

Competencies
Good knowledge of governance, risk and control frameworks (i.e. COBIT, COSO and SOX). Proven ability to develop and execute compliance frameworks and policies, conduct risk assessments, audits, monitoring and risk-based testing. Strong analytical and investigative skills, using tools and data analytics to draw conclusions. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to interact with people at all levels and make a positive change. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities Strong organisation skills and ability to deliver to agreed timescales.
