Join our Building Safety team as a Compliance Officer (Fire Safety)





We're looking for a Compliance Officer (Fire) to join our Building Safety team and take the lead on a wide range of fire safety responsibilities across the Group.


In this role, you'll:




Manage FRA actions and respond to technical queries Oversee the monitoring and reporting of FRAs, fire actions, compliance inspections, and insurance/accident claims Lead the delivery of Fire Risk Assessments Support investigations into customer accidents and serious incidents Provide Fire Safety technical support for other departments

This is a varied and rewarding role, where you'll work closely with internal teams, external contractors, and fire services. Your fire safety expertise will contribute to the delivery of safe, compliant housing across our portfolio.



You'll need to be technically knowledgeable, highly organised, and confident in analysing data and writing reports to succeed in this role.


Things we need from you:




Demonstrable experience of working within a Building Safety/Landlord H&S team for a Housing Association or similar organisation To have a good technical ability and be able to provide technical advice on a wide range of fire safety / compliance issues Have a sound understanding of all areas of building safety and a broad range of property related activities IOSH/NEBOSH or similar fire safety qualifications/certificates, working towards / or willingness to work towards Numerate, IT literate to at least an intermediate standard, accurate and detail conscious Ability to confidently chair meetings and present information clearly

Working Arrangements:



This is a home-based role. However, you'll need to travel to our offices in Worcester and Birmingham Business Park for meetings as well as sties across the geography of our stock.
