Role Overview



Green Bridge Community Housing (GBCH) is seeking an insightful and diligent

Compliance Officer

to support our Compliance Management Team. The successful candidate will help ensure that our services meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safeguarding.

This role will involve conducting case file audits, supporting documentation quality, monitoring service delivery, and training staff. You'll work closely with the Leeds team and contribute across South & West Yorkshire, particularly in Sheffield, where travel is required 1-2 times per week.

Key Responsibilities


Quality Assurance & Monitoring



Quality checks and activation of support documents quality assured and edited by Compliance Administrators (Sheffield/Rotherham/Leeds). Review service user case files to ensure documentation is comprehensive and in line with departmental guidelines Case file audits- ensure support provision is compliant with departmental/organisational policies and procedures as well as in line with best practice/legislative guidelines. Review documentation and contact notes for submission to Housing Benefits.

Monitoring & Evaluation



Produce weekly Compliance reports/stats. Record summary notes on Airtable and provide relevant data to Support Services Managers on support provision Provide general feedback to Support Services Managers that feeds into monitoring and evaluation of support staff performance Provide feedback to wider Compliance Team and other managers regarding departmental processes, support provision and general service delivery to help inform best practice

Compliance & Risk Management



Provide guidance to the Support Team on: Departmental guidelines, policies and procedures Completion of documentation relating to incidents, safeguarding and other risk management issues

Training & Development



Deliver workshops to new starters on compliance/support service processes and procedures. Deliver training to existing staff: compliance refresher workshops and sessions on new procedures and systems updates.

Administrative Support



Airtable Management: Compliance Interface - ensure team tasks are logged, documented and actioned as per departmental procedures. Leavers Forms Provide general admin support to: Quality Assurance Manager Compliance Manager

What We're Looking For



Experience and Knowledge



Proven experience providing effective administrative support in compliance or quality assurance roles. Experience in social housing, support services, or a similar environment is essential.
