We are now looking a Compliance Operative to join our multi-disciplined maintenance team.
The Opportunity:
Maintenance Services currently employ a mix of 85+ trades, semi-skilled and trade apprentice staff within its department who are responsible for the service and repair of over 500 buildings within the University of Edinburgh estate.
We now require a Compliance Operative to join our Compliance Team. You will be joining a team that caries out Statutory Compliance checks including but not limited to periodic emergency light testing, water safety checks and fire alarm testing.
Wide range of candidates welcome. Full training will be provided.
A driving licence is essential as there will be a requirement to drive University vehicles.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Smart technology skills including smartphone and tablets.
Working to deadlines and prioritising tasks.
Willingness to perform physical tasks.
Knowledge of the Health and Safety at work Act 1974.
UK driver's licence.
