We're looking for 3 technically skilled and detail-oriented Compliance Quality Assurance Inspectors to join our Mechanical Compliance team. In this role, you'll support the delivery of safe, compliant services across our housing portfolio, ensuring that all mechanical plant and equipment meet statutory and regulatory requirements. You'll work closely with contractors, engineers, and internal teams to carry out inspections, audits, and investigations, helping to maintain high standards of safety and service. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-performing team committed to doing the right thing for our customers and communities. You will be required to attend the office a minimum of two days per week for meetings and collaboration. This role is mainly site based but you will be required to attend the office for meeting as necessary.

What you'll do




On a day-to-day basis, you'll carry out audits and inspections to ensure compliance across mechanical services, including domestic and commercial gas systems. You'll manage a regime of physical inspections, review service failures, and monitor contractor performance. You'll ensure handover procedures are properly executed, asset registers are updated, and O&M manuals are obtained where required. You'll analyse performance data to identify maintenance issues or investment needs and investigate incidents using recognised techniques such as RoSPA. You'll also provide expert advice on health and safety compliance, liaise with the Health and Safety team, and contribute to maintaining high levels of gas compliance across the organisation.

What you'll need



Gas Safe registration and experience with domestic and commercial boilers Strong technical knowledge of gas services and mechanical & electrical systems Experience working in social housing or with contractors in a housing environment is desirable Up-to-date understanding of health and safety legislation and building services compliance Proven ability to manage customer relationships and communicate effectively under pressure
